Navigating the New York System for People With Developmental Disabilities

Find out how to apply for eligibility through the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). A brief overview of the services available once eligibility has been established will also be provided. Information offered in this workshop is relevant only to New York State services.
Workshops are open to people with I/DD, parents, family members, caregivers, and professionals. This workshop is geared toward people who have not yet applied for OPWDD eligibility. If you or your family member already have OPWDD eligibility, please contact YAI’s LINK department at 212.273.6182 and/or link@yai.org for assistance in accessing services.
