I’m Ashley Tyrie, a 26-year old aspiring entertainment journalist from West Islip, New York. I live with my parents and twin sister, and I have an older brother who lives in Los Angeles, California.

I love watching movies and TV shows, with my favorite movie being “Turning Red,” and my favorite show being “DanDaDan.” Why this matters is that I myself want to review media someday, since I like to explain to others why I love the TV shows and movies I watch.

My articles for this newsletter will focus on two things: my special interests in certain media, such as Disney and animation, as well as my experiences as an autistic person. I believe that one’s experiences as an autistic person should be talked about, especially in matters that may seem ordinary to others.

When not writing or watching media, I am hanging out with my twin sister, drawing fanart of my favorite media, baking at The Baking Coach, sewing or crocheting at Sew What’s New and Yarn Too!, using social media, or going shopping.
