A Note From the CEO
As a forward-thinking organization, YAI is looking ahead and embracing change to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). With the input of our Board of Trustees, senior leadership, and other internal and external stakeholders, this strategic plan will serve as our roadmap through 2026.
Building on our core values, we're expanding services to address growing needs affecting the I/DD community. We’re providing more crisis intervention for people with co-occurring behavioral health issues, introducing more technology across our programs, and ensuring people we support are able to age in place. We believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to thrive, both now and in the years to come.
This strategic plan isn't just about adapting; it's about anticipating the future and finding new ways to make a difference.
