Michael Howard resides in Far Rockaway in Southeast Queens. He has been a YAI Self Advocate since 2014.

Mike is a passionate advocate for the many things that need to be fixed for his future.

He enjoys writing about himself as someone with a disability, as well as doing research to focus on celebrities with disabilities.

Mike loves to “network” by attending events that focus on his passion for advancing the cause of advancing progress for people with disabilities.

Mike thinks that it is vital and essential that non-disabled people give disabled people recognition and respect.

His advice for everyone: "Never let any rich oligarch take your cornbread (or whatever cornbread that you have left)."
