Each year YAI hosts interns ranging from master's students completing their clinical requirements to high school students doing a summer internship at our New York headquarters with our IT, Finance, and Communications departments. Whether you are simply looking to gain experience in the human services field or satisfy your school’s fieldwork requirement, we hope you will consider YAI as a place to intern.

Student interns at YAI have the benefit of being supervised and mentored by a diverse and mission-driven workforce, with highly qualified supervisors, with credentials such as Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech Language Pathologist, to name a few. Students will also be gaining experience with an internationally regarded organization that is one of the largest healthcare nonprofits in New York City.
