Rebecca Schavrien

Social Worker, MSA (upper school)

Rebecca Schavrien is a seasoned Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 19 years post master's experience working primarily in child welfare and with children and families. In this time, she has worked in a variety of settings with a wide range of young people. This includes foster care (group homes), juvenile justice facilities, outpatient mental health clinics, non-public day school, residential treatment centers, and doing early intervention (ABA) in the home. As result, she has supported a diverse group of young people in both age and presentation. She has worked directly with students and young people, as well as done administrative and supervisory work including supervising mental health professionals and interns. She is an enthusiastic and creative professional who is passionate about making a difference in the life of young people.
