Lisa Kornegay

Travel Training Supervisor

Lisa Kornegay first joined YAI as a direct support professional (DSAP) at the Brooklyn Heights Day Hab in 2007. After four years as a DSP, she became a travel trainer and now holds the role of supervisor for the travel training program. Passionate about empowering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Lisa finds immense joy in supporting those she works with to achieve their goals and realize their full potential.

In addition to her hands-on work, Lisa has represented YAI at various conferences, sharing her expertise in travel training with fellow professionals. She looks forward to continuing her efforts to enhance the lives of those she serves.
