Self Advocate

My name is Robert Cardona - I was born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn in 1970. I have bi-polar disorder, but I am currently living under an agency named Job Path, which is an agency for people with disabilities. I have my own IRA apartment that I have lived in for 20 years. I have improved in my cooking, grocery shopping, and laundry skills overall. I have been a self advocate for YAI for 30 years, attending YAI conferences, the newsletter meetings, and the board meeting, which I have been the president for the group since 2023.
