DOE Independent Provider Listing

When the Department of Education (DOE) is unable to find a DOE employee or agency therapist to work with children in grades K-12 during or after school hours, the school or Committee for Special Education (CSE) will issue a Related Services Agreement (RSA) or P4 (for SETSS only). Then, parents can look for independent providers to deliver the service.

The independent service provider lists for school-age students, provided by the NY DOE, can help parents in receipt of RSA or P4s to locate providers of services including Independent Assessment, Related Service, and Special Education Teacher Support Service (SETSS).
