The Resource Entitlement and Advocacy Program (REAP), founded in 1989 with a grant from the Auxiliary Board of Mount Sinai Hospital, provides a centralized source of information and assistance regarding application and advocacy for such issues as:
- Government entitlements Public health insurance programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, Child Health Plus, and Family Health Plus)
- Other specialized programs, including Social Security Retirement and Disability
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Program (EPIC)
- Senior Citizens Rent Increase Exemption Program (SCRIE)
- Home care services
