The holidays can be a very enjoyable time of year for many of us. I, for one, have many wonderful memories of family and friends on the holidays. Good food, presents, and a lot of love and laughter fill many of my holiday memories.

Unfortunately for some of the people with disabilities I work with, they do not have family to fill their holiday memories with. That is why this year, on Thanksgiving, I will be working at my group home. I do not have to but I choose to. I want to try to help give the individuals I work with a nice day filled with good food and happy memories.
