The Yonkers Public Riverfront Library was going to host Comic Con on Saturday October 5, 2024.

To start the weekend off they had a Superhero Dance Party for adults with intellectual disabilities on Friday October 4, 2024. People came from different group homes.

About 80 people came to the dance. Some people had costumes like Batman, Robin, Thor, and Black Panther - I came as Wonder Woman. We all got to vote on the best costume.

There was a photo backdrop to take pictures, pizza, popcorn, soda, and other drinks.

The best part was they had a DJ and people got to dance as much as they wanted. People danced on the dance floor, from their wheelchairs, walkers, or just moved to the music.

Everyone had a good time, even the staff.
